We understand that travel plans can change. This policy outlines the cancellation terms for bookings made through Utrippin. Please review these terms carefully before making a reservation.

Flight Cancellations

24-Hour Free Cancellation

Most flight bookings can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the booking was made at least 7 days before departure. This applies to flights departing from the United States, as required by DOT regulations.

After 24 Hours

Cancellation fees after 24 hours vary by airline and fare type. Non-refundable tickets may only qualify for travel credit minus applicable fees. Refundable tickets can be cancelled for a full refund to the original payment method.

Hotel Cancellations

Hotel cancellation policies are set by individual properties and are displayed during booking. Common policies include:

  • Free Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled by the deadline (usually 24-48 hours before check-in)
  • Non-refundable: No refund for cancellations
  • Partial Refund: Some properties offer partial refunds based on timing

How to Cancel

  1. Log into your Utrippin account
  2. Navigate to "My Bookings"
  3. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel Booking" and follow the prompts
  5. You'll receive a confirmation email with refund details

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after cancellation approval. Credit card refunds may take an additional 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.

Airline-Initiated Cancellations

If an airline cancels your flight, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of fare type. We will notify you immediately and assist with rebooking or processing your refund.
